Power Electronics Engineer-January
This position is for the development of power electronics. The work will include building power electronics boards and designing the control software for their operation. The software includes data acquisition, feedback control, and fault management. The boards include high-power Class E and D amplifiers, high-voltage power supplies, and high-current pulse generators. Knowledge of semiconductor physics and semiconductor design is a plus.
The work will involve simulation in QSpice, CAD modeling of boards, and PCB design. The engineer will debug and test manufactured boards.
The engineer will support other projects. These include aerospace projects and nuclear fusion projects.
Work will include collaboration with outside parties. The engineer will interact with customers. This will include making presentations and writing technical papers. The engineer will attend conferences. The engineer will write user guides for their software and other technical documentation including marketing material.
