Aerospace Engineer Micro Intern

This position is for the development of aerospace vehicles. These include hypersonic aircraft, launch vehicles and satellites. Work involves mechanical, electrical and software design. The engineer will design control systems, attitude determination systems and navigation systems. 

Much of the work is with software. Experience with MATLAB, Python, C, and C++ is desirable. MacOS and Linux programming experience is a plus. Real-time software development is a plus.

Mechanical design includes propulsion, structural, thermal and power systems. A background in aerodynamics is desirable. The work will cross all of these disciplines.

Work will include collaboration with outside parties. The engineer will interact with customers. This will include making presentations and writing technical papers. The engineer will attend conferences. The engineer will write user guides for their software and other technical documentation including marketing material.
